General Help:

Each of the SFSI eCatalog indexes listed on SFSI eCatalog Page are different methods of searching for the SFSI catalog page on which any item of interest is displayed. You may search for any item of interest by using the General Index which is a directory of products in alphabetical order. Other indexes, such as SFSI Catalog Number, Manufacturer Catalog Number are sorted in numerical order to assist you in finding the appropriate page.

The Manufacturers and Product Offerings Compilation, The Product Listings with Manufacturers Compilation and the Trademark Compilation are groups listed for informational value.

Electronic Catalog Page Files are contained on this web site. The names of these files consist of two portions. The first portion is the page name shown on the top of each paper catalog page. The second portion is the page range on which that page name appears.

How to Search the SFSI eCatalog?

Scenario A: Search for a product by its generic name such as “Centrifuge”.

  1. Click on the “SFSI eCatalog Page”.
  2. Click on the “General Index”. The Acrobat Reader will open.
  3. Go to “Edit” drop down menu and click on “Find”.
  4. Type the generic name and click “Find”
  5. For more hits on the generic name, click “Find Again”
  6. Note the catalog page number associated with the item of interest
  7. Go back to the “SFSI eCatalog Page” and click on “Electronic Catalog Page Files” link.
  8. Be sure that the catalog page file names are displayed in “List Format” which is a sub-function of the “View” drop down menu.
  9. Click on the file which includes the page of interest as shown on the second portion of the file name.
  10. Go to “Edit” drop down menu and click on “Find” to search for the item of interest.
  11. Type the SFSI catalog number and click “Find”.
  12. For more hits on the catalog number, click “Find Again”.

Scenario B: Search for a product by the SFSI catalog number.

  1. Click on the “SFSI eCatalog Page”.
  2. Click on the “SFSI Catalog Number Index”. The Acrobat Reader will open.
  3. Go to “Edit” drop down menu and click on “Find”.
  4. Type the SFSI Catalog Number and click “Find”
  5. Note the catalog page number associated with the item of interest
  6. Go back to the “SFSI eCatalog Page” and click on “Electronic Catalog Page Files” link.
  7. Be sure that the catalog page file names are displayed in “List Format” which is a sub-function of the “View” drop down menu.
  8. Click on the file which includes the page of interest as shown on the second portion of the file name.
  9. Go to “Edit” drop down menu and click on “Find” to search for the item of interest.
  10. Type the SFSI catalog number and click “Find”

Scenario C: Search for a product by the Manufacturer catalog number.

  1. Click on the “SFSI eCatalog Page”.
  2. Click on the “Manufacturer Catalog Number Index”. The Acrobat Reader will open.
  3. Go to “Edit” drop down menu and click on “Find”.
  4. Type the Manufacturer Catalog Number and click “Find”
  5. Note the catalog page number associated with the item of interest
  6. Go back to the “SFSI eCatalog Page” and click on “Electronic Catalog Page Files” link.
  7. Be sure that the catalog page file names are displayed in “List Format” which is a sub-function of the “View” drop down menu.
  8. Click on the file which includes the page of interest as shown on the second portion of the file name.
  1. Go to “Edit” drop down menu and click on “Find” to search for the item of interest.
  2. Type the Manufacturer SFSI catalog number and click “Find”.

Scenario D: Search for a product within the Chemicals Reagent Section.

  1. Click on the “SFSI eCatalog Page”.
  2. Click on the “Chemical Reagent Offering Section”. The Acrobat Reader will open.

3. All chemical reagents are listed alphabetically. Simply look for the item of interest.
